Another great recommendation from the Yelp community. Our old house needed quite more than just a paint job, including significant dry rot repair, vent and downspout replacement, cleanup of old phone and cable lines, and more. We interviewed four painters for the job, and even though Bayview came in a bit higher than the others, it was evident that they had the right team and resources to handle not just the paint job but all the other little things that make such a big difference in the appearance of a house. We were very impressed by Peter's attention to detail, and he even suggested some things we hadn't thought about. And the other estimates were not near as thorough as his. He included photos of all the items we discussed during our walk through, and detailed lists of all the work to be done. In the end, the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. I hate having to chase contractors around nagging them about little details that drive me crazy, but I didn't have to do that with this job because Peter and his crew caught everything before I even brought it up. Our house was so dumpy and run down, and after Peter and his team worked their magic, it is the cutest house on the block. Every time I look at it I feel happy. Worth every penny.

Bayview painting was perfection! Their prep work was beyond my expectation. Communication with Peter, the owner and his staff made everything go smoothly. Peter and team painted my front door, dining room ceiling and crack in my living room wall in June. Peter took the time to figure out the exact paint color of my walls (since I had the name wrong) and also made sure every detail was complete before I gave him payment. Down to earth good, honest person and team. Now I have a painter that I can always rely on. I would highly recommend them!

We hired Bayview Painting to paint our house. They did an outstanding job, and we enthusiastically recommend them. Our house needed some extra care, and Bayview did all necessary repairs as well as incredibly thorough prep work. The final result far surpassed our expectations. Peter Dewey, who runs Bayview (and is a member of our community) was in constant communication with us and with his crew. His team clearly took pride in their work, and they were meticulous, responsive and a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely hire Bayview Painting again.

Bayview Painting did an outstanding job on the wood exterior of our home and also on the interior spaces. Very careful and considerate. House looks new on the outside and the interior is gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Peter and his crew have been wonderful to work with! They are professional, stand by their work, and most importantly will provide you with the very best quality. Peter is on site daily to oversee the progress of the job, and has been extremely helpful throughout the process- from picking colors, to giving advice on other aspects of our home renovation, he has been a great resource to have, and really knows his stuff! When I took on the task this summer of helping my grandmother update her home of 50 years, I had no idea how much work it was going to take. It seemed like every time we finished one task, there were three new things that needed to done. We had trouble with some contractors not being reliable, etc, so you can imagine my relief when we found Bayview Painting and finally had a solid company we could depend on. We even had a quick deadline to make- we were hosting a pool party at our home and I was leaving town the next day to go back to Colorado. When no one else would even consider taking the job, Peter said he would fit us in between jobs, work some weekends and long days, and have everything except minor touch-ups and details completed by the date we needed. Such a relief!! PLUS when I threw a curveball and said I wanted to do a two-toned paint job instead of a single color, Peter was right on board, even though it added an extra day to the schedule. I will say that at first we were hesitant, because the last time my grandma painted the house many years ago it cost her $3,500 and was done by college students, so we really didn't know what to expect cost-wise, but we knew we wanted it done right. At first we thought the price seemed high, but after asking around we discovered it was actually right in line with what you SHOULD be paying if you want a quality paint job that will last a lifetime. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. Peter ensured us he only uses the very best outdoor paint available (which we verified with others) and of course costs more, and invited us to take a look at some of his current projects before deciding. After my grandma and I went to look at some of the properties, we were sold! It was clear how much pride they take in their work, and the attention to detail was outstanding. After looking at Peter's houses and seeing how crisp and clean their paint lines were, I quickly started noticing at other houses how not crisp and clean other paint jobs were. My grandma was so impressed with how hardworking the painters were, and how much effort went into the prep work. Long story short, it was worth every penny, and my grandma and I are so pleased with how the house turned out! The house was originally mint green and in serious need of a more modern look. We can't wait to have Bayview Painting do the interior this fall, because we know they will do it right!

Great service, just like the good old days. I called Bayview and spoke to Peter to get an estimate to have a apartment painted at the Senior Living Community I work at. He arranged a time to meet and was on time. He was very specific about the start to finish process and confirmed everything with me. I received the proposal the same day which impressed me and we approved it. I explained to him we had a quick move-in in the near future for this apartment and he adjusted his schedule to meet our needs.The day his crew arrived they were very respectful and professional which is a big deal to me cause I'm Italian. As a Realtor, having a stellar team of service providers is a must. Peter and Bayview Painting just made me look so good to my clients! Peter came in for a very detailed consultation, complete with perusing the paint can left at the property to see if he could match color easily and taking the time to truly understand what I needed to prepare the home for market. His team left the home immaculate when the job was complete and they were a pleasure to work with as I came in and out having to tend to other details. They handled last minute additions and requests gracefully and allowed me to relax, when normally I have to intensely project manage any job I hire out. They hung lights, power washed the decks, changed out door knobs, matched all outlet and switch plates and made sure every light was in perfect working order.
