Peter's bid was higher than the other two bids I received. Normally I would go with a midrange bid, but talking with Peter and considering the detailed bid listing all that would be addressed led me to award him the job for this 3,600 square foot house. I was not disappointed! The house is beautiful and very well protected against the elements. The crew was professional and their attention to detail is much appreciated. I can recommend Bayview Painting without reservation.

I recently hired Bayview Painting to paint the inside of my home in Moraga. They did an amazing job. Peter and his crew took great care in protecting our furniture and floors. They taped and covered all their work areas. Peter recommended that we paint an accent wall in our living room. It looks amazing and he didn't charge any extra. I would highly recommend them if your looking for a perfect job at a reasonable price. I will hire them again for sure.

Hands down the best Painting Company in the East Bay. Peter, the owner, is very knowledgeable, thorough in both his preparation (which is important on any painting job) as well as his painting. He understands construction and repair, as well as the proper approach to address our home's water leak/mold issues. Every other painting contractor simply quoted painting-over the damaged area. Peter knew from experience the potential future damage and health issues which could occur if the wet materials and mold were not properly addressed. He knows exactly how to repair damaged drywall flawlessly. He is conscientious, thorough, extremely detail oriented and is committed to delivering quality service. As an Architect who deals with Contractors on a daily basis, its clear that Bayview is an outstanding Painting Company. I would certainly recommend Bayview to all of my clients and wouldn't hesitate to call him again for future painting needs.

I contacted Bayview Painting to paint the interior of my new home. My initial email was responded to the same day by Peter. We had just purchased the home and wanted to paint the entire interior before moving in. We had a tight schedule and needed the work started relatively quickly. From start to finish Peter and the entire team were fantastic. Peter made a point to come out to the home multiple times to ensure the job was being performed as agreed and on schedule. I hired them based on other reviews and what looked like quality work from the pictures on Yelp; I'm glad I did. Very happy with how the project turned out and the experience with the Bayview team. Peter and team painted my front door, dining room ceiling and crack in my living room wall in June. Peter took the time to figure out the exact paint color of my walls (since I had the name wrong) and also made sure every detail was complete before I gave him payment. Down to earth good, honest person and team. Now I have a painter that I can always rely on. I would highly recommend them!

Quality work, great customer service, genuine pride in doing a good job, and a hard work ethic....these are attributes hard to find in a painting professional. And, Peter has them all. We were very happy with the work Peter did in painting our infant son's room. Not only that, he worked within our time frame....which was a "needed it done yesterday" kind of thing. Peter was on it from the start and committed himself to finishing quickly. It wasn't an easy job either. The room involved multi-colors on the same walls. It came out perfectly. Peter is easy to work with, professional, and delivered on the job promised. We will definitely use Peter again!(I was not given any compensation for this posting.)

Owner Peter Dewey is very knowledge, excellent sense of color, and a real perfectionist about his finished product. He goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy with the results. We have had him do three painting projects for us, including a full exterior paint job and have been extremely satisfied every time.

Peter was incredibly helpful when we needed to repaint our home. Although his crew was too busy to do the job, he spent multiple phone calls with me suggesting other painters and what kind of paint we should use in various rooms for the best result. Bayview painting scraped, sanded, sealed, repaired, and painted our exterior, including some large areas of rot found, and did an excellent job. I'm very happy with Peter, Diego, Jose, and the crew. I've worked with a number of contractors, and I've never felt as much trust and partnership as I do with them. The whole project has had great work, problem solving, and communication. Plus, they really do things right - scraping, sanding, etc. All problem areas were addressed and checked, all open questions resolved. I would happily hire them again.
